Basketweave Baby Blanket

Description

This is a very simple pattern using only knit and purl stitches, but it creates a beautiful, cuddly texture.

The pattern includes details for many different size options, as well as guidelines if you want to design your own size.

Detailed information about yarn substitution is also included in the pattern, should you want to use a different yarn.

A circular knitting needle is used, as the blanket is made in one piece. Since the blanket is worked flat and not in the round, the length of the cable of the circular knitting needle is not that important – when in doubt, choose the longest length (most sizes will easily fit on a 32 inch length circular needle).
